About us

Machines and Controls Ltd offers a range of engineering services. We have designed and built a range of machinery and safety solutions for our customers. We design the machines ourselves and manufacture them in house. We work closely with our customers to ensure that the designs we produce suit their needs.

We have a fully equipped engineering workshop including lathes, milling machines and grinding machines. As well as those, we have two XYZ CNC machines that we use to manufacture components for our own designs and to engineer spares, replacements and components for customers who require them.

Alex Wilson founded the business. He has many years working in engineering. His wide experience of creating engineering solutions has earnt him the respect and loyalty of his customers. He has a proven track record in designing machines that meet the needs of his customers in a range of industries. In recent years,  Alex has supplied the stone industry with sawing, cropping and kerfing machines; the robotics industry with handling and welding machines; the metal bending and forming industry and the precious metals industry with sawing machines.
